Thank you for signing up for our workshop on lids and lidded vessels.
I have some warm-up suggestions. Please bring whatever you produce to the workshop. Don’t worry, you wont need to share it.
- Search the web for lidded pottery images and drag a bunch that you like into a document or folder or photo app so you can refer back to them. Bring access to them on your phone or computer.
- Next make some sketches. The easiest way is to make simple line drawings of the right side of the vessel, as shown above.
- You may want to sketch whole vessels like in the sketch book below.
- Write a paragraph about lidded pots. This is intentionally open ended.
- If you have any lidded vessels that you, or someone else made, and want to share them, or critique them, bring them with you.
